Jerred Leonard Joins FCA & Vision Ag as Certified Energy Specialist
KEOTA, Iowa — Farmers Cooperative Association and Vision Ag are pleased to announce that Jerred Leonard has joined the team as a Certified Energy Specialist (CES). Based out of Keota, Jerred will serve all Farmers Cooperative Association and Vision Ag locations throughout southeast Iowa.
Jerred specializes in fuel and lubricant sales and will be the go-to contact for our members' propane, fuel, and lubricant needs. Whether that's scheduling a delivery, talking through contract pricing, or finding the right lubricant for a piece of equipment. As a CHS employee working exclusively with Farmers Cooperative Association and Vision Ag customers, he brings the resources and product expertise of CHS's energy programs directly to producers and businesses here at home.
He comes to the role with nine years of sales experience in the area and a clear philosophy about what the job really is.
In Jerred's own words
Hello! My name is Jerred Leonard, and I am the new Certified Energy Specialist based out of Keota, Iowa, and I will be servicing the surrounding areas.
After spending the past nine years working in sales throughout the area, I'm excited to bring that experience to a role that I believe is about much more than simply selling a product. I truly believe in the service side of sales and being someone customers can count on, solving problems, and building relationships. My goal is to become the go-to guy for our cooperative members for all of their fuel and lubricant needs.
I'm incredibly grateful for this opportunity and excited to get to work serving the farmers, businesses, and communities throughout the area. I'm looking forward to building new relationships, strengthening existing ones, and representing Farmers Cooperative Association and Vision Ag with pride.
Outside of work, I'm lucky to be married to my wife, Cala, and we have two awesome kids, Lincoln (4) and Lyla (1). We love spending our weekends camping with family and friends. When I'm not working or camping, you can probably find me cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes or cooking something up on the grill.
