December 2025 Choice Recap

Dec 01, 2025

DECEMBER CHOICE | NOVEMBER WRAP-UP
As we head into December, we’re looking back at a fast-moving November that brought mild weather, long days, and a strong finish to the fall season across FCA and Vision Ag.

Grain Update
With the government shutdown ending, the USDA finally released updated yield reports. Corn and soybean projections were revised slightly downward, but both still point toward potential record highs. Trade news added optimism as China committed to additional soybean purchases through the coming years. As you look ahead to marketing your new-crop bushels, Sarah is ready to help with plans and pricing.

Vision Ag & Fall Operations
Mild weather and dry field conditions helped deliver one of the smoothest and fastest anhydrous seasons we’ve had in years. With dedicated trucks keeping product moving, our team saw minimal delays and a strong finish. Early financing programs have also been popular, with 0% or low-interest options available as planning begins for the 2026 season. Our Annual Meeting will be held January 9th in the Amanas with keynote speaker Keni Thomas.

Agronomy – Keota Vision Ag
November was one of the busiest months of the year, and the Keota team put in long days, late nights, and countless hours to meet customer needs. With fall application wrapping up, it’s now time to begin planning spring prepay for the 2026 crop. CFA financing rates are available as low as 2%, and the team is here to help answer questions and find the best options for your operation.

Feed Department – Keota
As winter sets in and cows enter their final trimester, maintaining minerals and vitamins becomes even more important. Wind & Rain Mineral performs well through harsh weather and steady intake. December also brings early prepay savings on 2026 minerals. With the holidays approaching, early feed orders help ensure smooth delivery and allow staff time with their families.

Feed & Mineral Update – Purina / Multi-Species
Winter conditions can quickly drain energy reserves in brood cows, making mineral supplementation essential. Purina Wind & Rain offers dependable winter performance, and December provides exclusive early booking opportunities for 2026 floor-stocked minerals. Refined Fuels & Energy
Diesel fuel is now treated with CFI to prevent gelling down to zero degrees, and Premium #1 fuel will be blended as temps drop. The Winter Bulk Oil Sale runs through February 28th, offering a $50 Cenex gift card with every 100 gallons purchased of select lubricants. For questions, our teams in Stockport, Douds, or Keota are ready to help.

Broadway Service Center
With winter driving conditions setting in, Broadway shared their usual humor paired with important reminders: check tire tread and pressure, winterize fluids, confirm your battery health, test your rear defrost, and keep an emergency kit handy. Your safety on the road is the top priority—especially with winter storms on the way.
